  • University of Pittsburgh, Provost’s Open Education Resource Funding Grant. This $5,000 grant was awarded on April 22, 2019 for the development of a comprehensive OER curriculum for the first two semesters of Quechua language instruction.
  • Learning and Teaching Priorities Grant from the National Federation of Modern Language Teachers Associations (NFMLTA). This $5,000 grant was awarded on October 26, 2020, and was used to support the organization of the Third Annual Quechua Innovation and Teaching Initiative (QINTI) Workshop held at the University of Pittsburgh on August 12-15, 2021.
  • “Promoting Indigenous Andean Heritage within the Latino Population: Creating a Community of Practice for Learning Quechua Language and Culture” grant; $32,149 was awarded on May 19, 2022 by the Call to Action to Address Racism & Social Injustice Research Program, University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign
  • The QINTI Directors collaborated with Dr. Leila Gómez, Professor of Women and Gender Studies and Director of the Latin American and Latinx Studies Center (LALSC), University of Colorado, Boulder, in the writing of a U.S. Department of Education, Undergraduate International Studies and Foreign Language Program (UISFL) grant application. Year 1 of the grant included $20,000 in funding to support the Quechua Innovation and Teaching Initiative (QINTI) and the Fourth Annual QINTI Workshop held at the University of Boulder, Colorado on May 11-14, 2023.
