QINTI II
At QINTI’s second meeting, organized by Carlos Molina-Vital and held virtually in March 2020 (due to the COVID-19 pandemic), a broader spectrum of participants and consultants attended, particularly Quechua language activists and instructors not affiliated with higher education institutions, to present their individual insights and experiences in teaching and promoting Quechua languages and to flesh out future plans; these consultants came from varied backgrounds, including information design, digital learning, Quechua literature, and primary and secondary education language teaching contexts.
This meeting was supported by the Center for Latin American and Caribbean Studies at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.
